One of the requirements for participating in a FIRST-in-Michigan (FIM) event and Team 5843 is volunteering. Each team is required to provide two volunteers for each event we attend. Parents, this is where your participation is required.

Volunteering at an event is pretty easy and fun. The possible positions range from helping with field reset (You get the best seat in the house to watch the action.) to managing the safety glasses station. Below is an email from the Macomb event coordinator regarding volunteering and the help they need. Ask Brenda, Krista, Jim, or myself if you have any questions.

Hello, Teams!

We are looking forward to seeing all of you at the Macomb FRC Event this season!

At this time, we are in need of volunteers to help make this a successful event. If you know of anyone who would be a good fit for any of these roles, please have them contact us or have them register on firstinspires.org.

Also, we are in need of field assembly volunteers on Wednesday, March 30 in the afternoon, and field disassembly volunteers after the event on April 2. If your team is interested in helping to assemble or disassemble the field, please let us know! We could really use your help!
